A recap of Term 1, 2020

What an exciting start to 2020 we have had! With the new year has come many changes and additions for KMS!

Term 1 has seen a number of new venues open across NSW, Victoria and NZ! With many busy families keen to join our program, we have opened even more weekend venues! We have had great numbers at all these weekend venues and are happy to see many new returning families take advantage of our weekend classes. We have also doubled up on many of our busy weekday venues, allowing for even more families to enjoy their daily sessions!

In an exciting first for KMS, we have opened our very own KMS dedicated venue in Highton, VIC. We are running sessions at the Hightin Multipurpose Centre 7 days a week and are looking to include even more sessions here from Term 2 onwards. In order to create an exciting centre for families, we are looking to fill the enclosed courtyard with a number of toys/activities for the children. If you have any toys the kids no longer use and you would like to donate, please let us know and we will be happy to take them off your hands.

Along with our new venues we also have a number of new coaches joining our team this term, as well as some training ready to start their own sessions next term. We would like to welcome all of the new faces to our team as we look forward to working with you in 2020!

So far in 2020 we have attended a number of events throughout the community. In NSW we were lucky enough to visit the BIG4 Holiday Park in Foster/Tuncurry and provide weekly sports activities for their guests. We have also attended a numberof family events, such as the NightJar markets in Geelong as well as plenty of school fundraisers/fun days. If you have an event coming up that you would like us to help out with, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Term 1 saw the introduction of our 'pop-up store'. We all know the benefit of practicing our skills at home and to make your life easier. we have brought the store to you! Our 'pop-up store' sells KMS branded sports equipment, currently ALF balls, basketballs, rugby balls and soccer balls in all states, as well as our new tennis racquets in VIC! You simply take what equipment you would like and we follow up with your invoice - it's that simple! We are looking to start selling even more KMS branded equipment in term 2, including cricket bats, balls and tees, soccer nets and tennis racquets! Keep an eye out at your venuew or on our website for when these go on sale!

As you would all know, due to COVID-19 we sadly had to cancel the end of term 1. However, we were not deterred by the changing situation and have adapted for term 2! Term 2, 2020 will be running completely online through ZOOM. The online sessions run  for 45 minutes and follow the structure as our usual sessions, including songs, a warm up, races, skills and a game to finish up. At only $11 per session, the program is a reasonably priced activity to keep the kids active and entertained within their own home. It also allows them to keep in touch with other mini-sporters and KMS team members.

November, 2019

Your Kelly Mini Sports News

Term 3 2019 was a very exciting term for Kelly Mini Sports - we branched across the ditch and have now started sessions in New Zealand! We are very excited to have Auckland local Coach Jono join the minis team. Jono started his coaching career with Kelly Sports whilst studying a Bachelor of Sport and Leisure. Since graduating, Jono has gained a vast array of experience in the health and fitness industry, from strength and conditioning training to health promotion for both students and teachers in schools. Jono is now managing our sister company Kelly Sports on the Hibiscus Coast and has started our very first Kelly Mini Sports sessions in NZ!

Back in Aus, Term 3 saw even more expansion across each NSW, QLD and VIC. We opened plenty of new locations in each of these states, coinciding with the recruitment of a number of new coaches. We would like to welcome all of the new faces to the team, many of whom you will have already met, and look forward to working together to develop a lifelong love of sports!

As we head into Term 4, we have not only opened more new locations but are now getting ready for our Christmas Fun Days! Our themed fun days are a great way to get the kids out of the house and into the festive spirit. The kids participate in a 45 minute KMS session, followed by an interactive Santa sing-along. The dates and locations of our 2019 Christmas Fun Days will be announced in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on your emails and socials so you don’t miss these great events!

June, 2019

With June coming to a close, we are running our final sessions for Term 2, 2019. Once again we were happy to see an increase in our enrolments across the country, with a total of just under 2,000 kids enrolled - a record for the program! Term 2 also saw the introduction of our Kelly Mini Dance program in Victoria, with many budding dancers having a great time in the classes. We are hoping to expand our dance program further in VIC, and then into NSW and QLD as well.

We also had one new coach join us in June - Coach Scott Hillier! Scott has just moved to Victoria from Wellington, NZ! He is an avid football player and is playing for Avondale FC. You will find Scott coaching in Mount Waverley and Kew - welcome to the team Scott!

A highlight for June would definitely have to be our Superhero and Princess Themed Dress Up Week. Both kids and coaches alike had a great time dressing up as their favourite characters for the week, with our Superhero and Princess Shows ending the week with some extra entertainment!

At the start of June we were lucky enough to attend the What’s On 4 Kids Awards for a second time. We were nominated in 7 categories and lucky enough to win the People’s Choice award in 4 of these categories:

We wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who voted for us and to those who support our program. We would not be where we are today or have the opportunity to achieve such accolades if we did not have such great support from our parents, kids, team and families.

Kicking off 2019 with a bang!

March - April, 2019

The first quarter of 2019 has seen a lot happening at Kelly Mini Sports! From new coaches and locations, to the introduction of new venues and programs, our team has been working harder than ever to provide the best possible sporting experiences for the kids of Australia!

As Term 1 concludes and we prepare for Term 2, we see a number of new faces joining the KMS team! In NSW we have Sam Eggleton starting up sessions on the Central Coast, as well as Aprelle Ebzery taking over our Western Sydney sessions. In Queensland we have Blake Eager, Harrison Linning and Kieren Sturgiss running sessions across Brisbane, with Matthew Ruhle coaching on the Gold Coast. And in Victoria we have Jordan Tootell who will be coaching in Greenvale.

Term 1 not only saw a number of new faces, but also saw the promotion of a number of our current coaches. Coach Pani has been working hard this term not only coaching her own sessions but with the ongoing training of coaches across NSW. The increasing demand of the program in VIC has allowed Coach Shelley to commence an administrative role on top of her coaching duties. Well done to both Pani and Shelley - these promotions are well deserved! Sadly, the conclusion of Term 1 will also see us saying goodbye to a few faces. Coach Brayden from NSW, who has been running sessions across Western Sydney for the past year, will sadly be leaving us to pursue his career in policing. In Victoria we will be saying farewell to Coach Emily, who has been coaching with us for the past 3 years. Emily is now moving on to pursue her career as a primary school teacher. We wish both Brayden and Emily all the best in their future endeavours!

Rolling into 2019

January - February 2019

2019 is well and truly here, with Kelly Mini Sports powering into the new year ready for another 12 months of Creating a Lifelong Love of Sports!!

Following the Christmas New Year break, we got back into the swing of things with our School Holiday Fun Days running throughout January. Keeping with the spirit of summer, the kids were treated to 45 minutes of fun based around cricket and tennis. These exciting programs are great for KMS regulars and first timers alike, and with no bookings required anybody can attend! Keep an eye out for the release of our April School Holiday events.

The new year also brought plenty of new locations and even more exciting, new coaches! Term 1 sees sessions running for the first time in Garden Suburb and Dapto (NSW); Springfield/Camira, Indooroopilly and North Lakes (QLD); and Reservoir, Oakleigh South, Caroline Springs, Box Hill and Mulgrave (VIC). With the help of these new venues, there were over 1,700 kids across Australia attending KMS in the first week of Term 1 - a record for the program!

Not only do we have our fantastic team of coaches back for 2019, but we welcomed 3 new coaches to the team. In Victoria we have Coach Matthew, Coach Carmen and Coach Steph, all starting sessions for the first time in Term 1. Our program could not be where it is today without the hard work and dedication of our team, and we hope to further expand this team as the year continues.

Right at the end of February we had our very first Superhero/Princess themed Fun Day! Following the success of our Dinosaur and Santa Fun Days running late 2018, it’s now time for all the Superheroes, princes and princesses out there to have some fun! With a 45 minute KMS session, followed by an exciting and interactive performance, these events are a great way for the kids to spend the morning with family and friends. With VIC leading the way, we have another of these Fun Days booked in Queensland for March 12th, and NSW dates to be announced Term 2. Keep and eye out for our Easter Fun Day events as well, with dates to be released in the coming weeks!

A look back on 2018

December - January 2018

As 2018 concludes, we celebrate another year of creating life long love of sports amongst the 1 to 5 year olds of Australia! As always, our aim is to provide the best program possible and thanks to your feedback, we have been able to adapt and develop the program over the course of this year.

One of the most notable developments for 2018 would be the introductio of our fun days! To ensure we constantly provide you with the opportunity to keep your kids active and entertained, we now run special event throughout the school holidays. Similar to our regular program, the session run for 45 minutes and allow the kids to continue practicing their skills. They also allow new mini sporters to get a taste of what KMS is all about! These events have been a great success and we endeavour to increase the number of events running every term.

Looking to supplement and introduce more variety to our regular sports program, 2018 saw the introduction of our Fun Day Special events. Starting with our Dino Fun Days and followed by our Santa Fun Days, these special events run throughout the school term and include a 45 minute sports session, followed immediately by a themed, interactive performance put on by professional kids entertainers. With the great result so far, we will be running these themed special events throughout the year - be sure to keep an eye on our socials as well as your emails for more details on these!

This year we were lucky enough to attend the "What's on 4 Kids Awards" in Brisbane. We were finalists in 5 categories, and lucky enough to receive Homourable Mention for 'Best National Toddlers Activity (2-3 years)'. Our director Cameron Drake was the winner of the "Most Outstanding Activity Leader for Babies (0-2 years)! We look forward to attending the event again in 2019!

Over 2018 we sadly said goodbye to a number of coaches. In September, we also bid farewell to our NSW State Manager Michael Van Rooy. Michael had been with our program for a number of years and made move to Sydney in 2016 to start the program up in NSW. Michael did a great job building the program across NSW and we wish him all the best for his future endeavours. With Michael's departure, our Newcastle Manager Fiona Harrop has now tahen over management of NSW.

The year also saw the introduction of plenty of new locations across all states. With these new locations, we welcomed a number of new coaches to the team. Through opening in new areas as well as increasing the number of locations in our current areas, we finished 2018 with a total of 63 locations in Victoria, 29 locations in New South Wales and 23 locations in Queensland.

Heading into 2019 Kelly Mini Sports will be entering it's 7th year! As always, we hope to continue to develop and improve the program as we grow. We believe through the efforts of our current team, and through the introduction of even more coaches, we will be able to further expand throughout 2019 and into the future, hoping to create a life long love of sports across the nation!

Pani Moanaroa - Taylor

Pani has been working with us since early 2018. She has done a great job taking over our Hills District sessions in NSW and has built strong bonds with all of her classes. Due to her success, she has now been promoted to Coach Development Officer for NSW. Not only is Pani a great coach and trainer of coaches, but she also brings plenty of new and exciting ideas to the program. Fantastic Job Pani, keep up the great work!

Fun Day All Around

October 2018

With Term 4 up and running, a major focus of October of October was our Dinosaur Sports Fun Days. Aiming to bring another aspect to the company and create a fun day out for families, we have introduced our 'Fun Days'. We have started these with a Dinosaur theme, and had a great success across VIC, NSW and QLD - with our VIC events attracting close to 100 children!

With Christmas fast approaching, planning is underway for our very first 'Santa Dun Day' events. The day will start with a KMS session, which will then be followed up by a Christmas sing and dance along lead by Christmas elves and reindeer. Following this, Santa will make an appearance to greet the kids and pose for photos. Be sure to keep an eye on your emails, aaswell as our social media accounts for information on your nearest event!

Term 4 has seen us welcome Coach Connor in Queensland. Coaching in Springwood, he has gotten off to a great start and look forward to seeing him develop further as the term continues.

Dinosaur Sports Fun Day Success - and more to come!

September 2018

The September of 2018 was a very busy month for Kelly Mini sports! The highlight of the month would definitely have been the Dinosaur Sports Fun Day! On September 12th we had over 90 kids come down to Ferntree Gully for 2 hours of Sporting fun and dinosaur excitement! The day started off with 2 x 45 minute consecutive Kelly Mini Sports sessions. Following on from this everyone was treated to a 'Real Dinosaurs' interactive, age appropriate dinosaur dance show! All kids, parents and coaches had an amazing experience, ane we would like to thank all those who participated in the event.

With the success of our first Dinosaur Sports Fun Day, we are now planning to run these events on a regular basis across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Our nextevent will be another Dinosaur Sports Fun Day. This will be running on Thursday 18th October at the Doncaster Leeds Street Sports Centre, Doncaster. Starting at 9:30am, kids age 1 to 5 years old can experience a 45 minute sports session followed directly by an interactive Dinosaur Dance with Toby the T-Rex! In Victoria, we have coach Conor who will be coaching in Langwarrin, Eltham and Mooroolbark. Coach Josh in Oakleigh South, Rowville, Bayswater North and Bentleigh and coach Stephen coaching in Rowville. Finally, in Queensland we have coach Melissa running sessions in Woolloongabba, Logan Central, Mt Gravatt, Forest Lake, Wynnum and Ipswich.

On a sadder note, this September we said goodbye to coach Michael, our NSW State Manager. After working with Kelly Mini Sports and Kelly Sports in Melbourne for a number of years, Michael made the move to Sydney in 2016 to start the Kelly Mini Sports program across NSW. Since then, he has openned up over 20 locations across the state, with 6 coaches under his management. Michael has done a fantastic job establishing the KMS program in NSW and we will be sad to see him go! Our New Castle Manager, coach Fiona has now taken over management of NSW.

With Term 4 underway in VIC and QLD, about to commence in NSW, we have plenty to keep the kids active and entertained! Keep an eye on our socials and your email inbox for upcoming events and activities!

Most Outstanding Activity Leader for Babies (0-2 years) - WINNERS!

August 2018

This August saw the Kelly Mini Sports team attend a number of special events across the East Coast of Australia. In Victoria we attended the Templestowe Park Primary School Father’s Day celebration, running sports activities for all of the children and their Dad’s! In NSW we were lucky enough to run activities at the 'Move for Mental Health' charity event in Shellharbour, as well as attend the Killalea State Park farms market in Shellharbour. We had such a good day providing free activities for the kids, so much so that we will be back at the farms markets on Sunday September 2nd for their Fathers Day event!

On Saturday August 18th we were honoured to attend the annual 'What's on 4 Kids Awards' in Brisbane. Thanks to your support and votes, Kelly Mini Sports made the finals in five categories! We were thrilled to hear that, not only were we finalists, but we were the winners for one category and received honourable mention in another.

Coming up in September we will be running a ‘Dinosaur Sports Fun Day’ in Ferntree Gully, VIC!! The day will start off with a 45 minute Kelly Mini Sports session at 9:30am (separate sessions for each age group). Following on from this we will have the crew from ‘Real Dinosaurs’ performing an interactive, age appropriate dinosaur dance show! This event is for 1-5 year olds and costs only $15 per child (cash only, to be paid at the door). Keep an eye on our social media and emails, or send us an email, for more information!

As August comes to a close, Term 3 continues across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. We are now pumping out sessions at 56 locations in VIC, 30 locations in NSW and 18 locations in QLD. In the hope to reach more kids than ever before, planning is under way to open up even more locations come Term 4, 2018 and Term 1, 2019! With September upon us, we are now getting prepared for yet another term of sporting fun! Term 4 bookings have now opened for Victoria and Queensland, with our Early Bird Special running until Wednesday September 5th. For our NSW sporters, bookings will open on Wednesday September 5th, with your Early Bird Special running through to Wednesday September 12th. Be sure to keep an eye on your email for your Early Bird Special Code! Get in quick - as spaces fill fast!

Expanding our horizons ...

July 2018

This July was kicked off with another round of School Holiday Fun Days! A total of 53 programs were run across NSW, QLD and VIC and saw a grand total of 550 kids attending. We all had a great time playing basketball, soccer and tug ‘o’ war, with the sessions finishing off with an all-time favourite, the parachute!

As Term 3 returns, enrolments into our programs across the country are steadily increasing, with 200 kids enrolled across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, 300 across Sydney, Wollongong and Newcastle, and over 900 enrolled across greater Victoria! Our recent growth can be attributed to the commitment, passion and enthusiasm of all of our coaches, which has led to Kelly Mini Sports being nominated for 5 awards in the What’s On 4 Kids Awards. Thanks to your votes we have reached the finals for all 5 categories! This August we are honoured to be attending the presentation night in Brisbane - keep an eye on our socials for the results!

At Kelly Mini Sports we aim to create a lifelong love of sports in as many children as possible, and in order to reach even more members of the community we often attend markets, open days and special events. Coming up this August/September you can find us at the Pasterfield Community Centre Open Day in Cameron Park, the Farms Market in Killalea, the My Kids Market in Castle Hill, Father’s Day at Templestowe Park Primary School and at Sarah Court Preschool’s Healthy Harvest Festival in Montrose. We will have some special offers and plenty have fun for the kids!

Not only do we run sports activities at local events, but did you know we also run birthday parties?! Why not have a sports party for your little one’s next birthday? We come to you and provide a 1 hour Kelly Mini Sports session for your birthday child and their guests! More Coaches, more Locations and more Mini Sporters!

June 2018

As the Winter months approach, there are higher than ever enrolment numbers in Queensland, and all 6 new locations are up and running across Newcastle and the Central Coast!As June wrapped up, so did Term 2 of Kelly Mini Sports across Victoria and Queensland - and what a busy term it was! We welcomed two new coaches to the Queensland team, with Coach Hannah and Coach Nathan settling in nicely, coaching our sessions across the Gold Coast. Victoria welcomed Coach Casey and Coach Nicole early in the term, with both running great sessions across Melbourne and surrounds.

 

Term 3 will see us welcome Coach Andy, who will be coaching across Melbourne’s South East. Originally from New Zealand, Andy has grown up with Rugby, but also loves Basketball and all other team sports. We would also like to introduce Coach Nick, who will be coaching our brand new sessions across Newcastle! Nick currently plays for the Newcastle City Blues in the local AFL league, and has also competed in other sports such as Soccer, League, Volleyball and more.

 

Not only did we see many new faces join the coaching team in June, but we had plenty of new mini-sporters as well! Numbers across Victoria have increased dramatically over Term 2, leading to the introduction of a number of new locations for Term 3. Term 2 also saw a record number of enrolments in both Queensland and NSW. Over 250 kids were enrolled in the program in Queensland, and over 400 kids enrolled in Sydney. Our sessions across Newcastle and the Central Coast have got off to a flying start, surpassing estimated enrolments in their very first term!

Announcing the Kelly Mini Sports Come and Try Days 2018!

May 2018

As the Winter months approach, there are higher than ever enrolment numbers in Queensland, and all 6 new locations are up and running across Newcastle and the Central Coast!

We know that it can be a bit of a challenge to keep your active toddlers and preschoolers occupied when the weather turns so we have launched a new program for all new families to join us for Kelly Mini Sports Come and Try Days throughout May and June across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. We have already had a big success with our "come and try days" in Victoria with over 40 children in Bendigo and Shepparton last weekend with all the children having a great time! Term 2 has been so much fun for all our coaches across the states and the kids in the Illawarra region are loving coach Simon’s energy and enthusiasm. Coach Brayden and coach Pani are the talk of the town in Penrith and The Hills region, and our new Coaches for Gold Coast locations Hannah Perks and Nathan Keane are bringing big smiles to all our sporting superstars. Our new coaches Hannah, Nicole and Casey have also been a big hit with the kids this term in Victoria. But a special congratulations to coach Ryan from our Sutherland Shire area in NSW. With such fantastic feedback from the parents, he has been named Kelly Mini Sports coach of the month! Keep up the good work, Ryan!

Welcome to all our new sporting superstars and welcome back to our sporting families!

Our holiday programs had great numbers and were heaps of fun! Our new sporting superstars have already had a taste of Kelly Mini Sports through our Holiday Programs and plenty of demo sessions at childcares.

Term 2 is off to a flying start with record numbers across NSW including over 50 kids in Newcastle alone and almost 200 sporting superstars enrolled in our Queensland classes!

Meet our new coach for Newcastle, Coach Fiona!

“Hi, my name is Coach Fiona and I am now the Newcastle Manager for Kelly Mini Sports! I have a bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science with a major in Health and Physical Education and I have also studied Children's Services. I love to get involved with any sport, and have a particular passion for Soccer. In 2016 I joined the Kelly Mini Sports team with an aim to impart my passion and love for sports onto the next generation. For the past 2 years I have been coaching Kelly Mini Sports sessions across the Western Sydney Area, as well as managing Kelly Sports in the Sydney region. As a result of my coaching success I have now been selected as the Newcastle Manager and will be launching the Kelly Mini Sports program across Newcastle and the Central Coast in Term 2 this year!”

 

As you know we are heavily involved in Community Events and our Kelly Mini Sports coaches in Victoria had a great time at the Red Hill show recently and with over 30 trials booked in for the day, we know our mini-sporters did too! Kids of all ages also had an awesome day at our first ‘fun day’ in Gymea Bay, NSW and it was another big day at the My Kids Market, this time in Sutherland!

With over 220 sporting superstars enrolled in Queensland, we are opening in Tweed Heads and Chandler next term. We are also really excited to announce new locations for term 2 in Victoria, Seaford on Tuesdays, Mordialloc on Thursdays, Wantirna South on Fridays and White Hills on Saturdays!

As our enrolments in NSW grow and grow, we are thrilled to have 3 new coaches join us in time for Term 2! Coach Simon Douch, who is coaching in Corrimal, Kiama, Albion Park and Shellharbour, Coach Brayden Brennan, who will be coaching in Blaxland, Penrith, Glenmore Park and Blacktown and Pani Moanaroa-Taylor, who will be coaching in Thornleigh, The Ponds, Carlingford and Glenhaven.

With the holidays soon approaching, we have launched our very own Kelly Mini Sports School Holiday Fun Days which will be held across Australia in the coming school holidays. For only $12.50 we will put on a 45 minute sports session for your child while you sit back and enjoy a cheeky coffee.

The team at Kelly Mini Sports are extremely excited to announce the launch of Kelly Mini Sports online store where KMS sporting equipment will be available to purchase and make your very own. Well, how fast has term 1 gone? We have had such fun that we are already nearly half way through! This term, nearly 400 new mini sporting superstars enrolled for term 1 in Victoria alone and record numbers in Queensland as a whole with over 220 kids attending weekly! They all look great in their Kelly Mini Sports uniforms!

Earlier this month, we farewelled Coach Tuaine from our team in the Gold Coast who worked tirelessly to establish Kelly Mini Sports as a market leader in the Gold Coast region. Tuaine will be moving home to New Zealand and we thank him very much for being such an important member of our team. These huge shoes have been filled by Coach Gregory Walker who has already made firm friend with our sporting superstars and their parents – they all love him!

Kelly Mini Sports is becoming more involved in community and local events this term with Coach Adrian managing the KMS exhibit at the Kilmore Health & Wellbeing Expo, VIC, Coach Shelley running sports activities at the Queen's Baton relay in Ballarat, VIC, and a much loved and successfully holiday program in Victoria at the Frankston South Community Centre. Kelly Mini Sports coaches and little sporters alike had a ball at the Night Jar Market in Geelong this month and we had a great time at an event in Five Dock, New South Wales, with the My Kids Market; the kids had a great time enjoying the sporting activities run by our fabulous coaches!

We will be running more activities with the My Kids Market throughout the year, with the next one being in Sutherland in March. We will also be at the Red Hill Show in Victoria on Saturday March 10th. If you are joining in the fun at the Red Hill Show, make sure you visit us and have some fun with your Kelly Mini Sports coaches. Also on the 10th March we will be in Shepparton running sports sessions for Activties in The Park.

New year, new locations and new events!

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you have had a wonderful break with your loved ones and are ready to get back into all that is wonderful in sport!

New in Term 1, 2018, we are launching Rugby League in Victoria! We also have new locations in Corio, Victoria, Chandler, our new Brisbane location, and Albion Park in New South Wales.

We welcome Coach Kyle who will be coming onboard to coach in Victoria across Doncaster, Warrandyte, Balwyn and Lilydale. Emma Mclean is very excited to start her classes in New South Wales across Corrimal, Kiama, Albion Park, Shellharbour and Campbelltown.

Coming up this term, you will have the opportunity to see Kelly Mini Sports at public events such as the Kilmore Health and Wellbeing expo, the Frankston South Community Centre Holiday Program and the Geelong nightjar night market. Make sure you come and say hello to your favourite coaches!

Goodbye 2017… Hello 2018!

December 2017

Looking back over Term 4, we are delighted to announce we now have over 250 kids enrolled in our QLD classes! Coaches Jerico, Laura, Tuaine and Amy have worked diligently to increase enrolments, which means we have been able to increase our locations across Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland. Most of these locations now have 2-3 classes per week with at least six sporting superstars per class on average. A fantastic effort!

We welcome our new Coach Emma Mclean in NSW who will be coaching in Corrimal, Kiama, Shellharbour, Campbelltown and our new location in Albion Park starting in 2018! We also have two new locations in Victoria for 2018, Hastings on Tuesdays and Corio on Fridays.

Congratulations to Coach Emily for winning the National Coach of the Year! Emily coaches in Beaumaris, Aspendale and Mulgrave and is our emergency coach when needed. Not only extremely reliable, Emily is great with the kids and loved by all. Well done Emily!

Our sporting superstars have enjoyed all our sports this term though it is clear that our Rugby League classes are a stand-out! Lot’s of new and exciting activities and games from the coaches has lead to some outstanding tries being scored by the kids! Classes in Victoria will be welcoming Rugby League to their toddler and preschooler classes in 2018!

We say goodbye to some of our Giant Sporters who are off to school next year. We have loved being part of your sporting journey and we wish them all the best!

We want to thank all our sporting superstars and their families for such a wonderful year and for spoiling your favourite coaches with early Christmas gifts - with so much generosity, it is possible that they may actually turn into chocolates!

New locations, community spirit and Halloween fun!

As we start getting ready for the end of the year, many of our Giant Sporter's are enjoying their last term of Kelly Mini Sports before heading off to school next year! Our NSW sporting superstars have been flocking to our new sessions in Illawarra due to the fantastic Coach Grant.

Our Geelong classes in Victoria will get the opportunity to trial our new sport, Rugby League in December and with the continued excitement and support from our sporting superstars, this will be a new sport introduced for all VIC venues in term 1, 2018!

Our QLD team have been super-busy with launching 4 new locations in Alexandra Hills, Springwood, Logan Central and Redland Bay throughout Brisbane. Kelly Mini Sports also took part in the very successful Billabong Event with our sister company, Kelly Sports, in Parkwood, one of our amazing Gold Coast locations. We love being a part of the community so let your coach know about local events we can be involved in!

Though not traditionally associated with toddler and preschooler sports, we had some of our little sporting superstars celebrate Halloween recently – so much fun!

It has never been easier to book in a trial session for your little superstar with our new website. Simply search the nearest session we have to you, click 'Book Trial' and fill in your details. A confirmation email will be sent to you within 15 minutes. It’s that simple!

It’s been a great start in the Illawarra region with lots of kids starting in the Corrimal, Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama sessions. Coach Grant is doing a great job teaching the kids new skills in our NSW based classes, what a way to start term 4!

It is with great excitement that we announced our new locations in Victoria this month in Doncaster, Kilmore, Mornington, Dromana, Langwarrin and Frankston South! In support of these additions, we have a new member for the Kelly Mini Sports Victorian team, coach Jaymme, who has been coaching in Langwarrin, Frankston South, Mornington and Dromana!

Our budding superstars all over Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland have been having a great time learning the skills of Rugby League and now we move into summer, it is a perfect time for everyone to enjoy the summer sports of basketball, tennis and soccer!

Our monthly news is a massive hit so we are not only posting it on Facebook and our website but we are also emailing it to all of our customers along with a Coach of the Month or Sports Start of the Month column!

Did you know that this term we have had almost 300 kids enrolled NSW? It’s the most we have had in NSW since launching our Sydney classes in Term 1, 2016! In term 4 we will be opening in Wollongong, Kiama, Shellharbour and Corrimal!

We are so excited to announce that we now have 1,000 children fully enrolled in Victoria who will all enjoy plating Rugby League in Term 4!

It’s the halfway point for this term and we are thrilled to announce we have over 850 sporting superstars enrolled in Victoria and 250 in NSW, the most enrolled in the state since we launched! Our new locations in the Gold Coast are up and running and we have our new coach, Tuaine Fitzgerald coaching in all of the four locations. Kids are also having lots of fun with our new coach, Ryan who is coaching NSW classes in the Sutherland Shire and Strathfield.

As Australia's largest sports program for 1 to 5 year olds, we have had so much interest from Kilmore we decided to act. Kelly Mini Sports is excited to announce that classes are launching in Kilmore, Victoria this October in time for Term 4, 2017! Where will our next location be? As advocates for kids health, we know that it is important for the well being of all our Sporters to be involved in regular exercise of some kind regardless of the weather outside. And now that we are in the chill of winter, we have introduced Rugby League and refreshed our AFL/Footy classes for all our toddlers and preschoolers to enjoy. However, we know that it can be hard to keep your little ones interested, especially with all that extra energy being couped up in the rainy months! So we have decided to refresh our summer sports of tennis, basketball, cricket and soccer too! Be sure to join us in Term 3 for a fun-filled term with some new surprises along the way!
